Calm Seas was inspired by the serene, beautiful, calm waves of Boca Raton, Florida. I love how transparent the water is and how each wave is like a little splash against your body. I have memories of being able to rest and float in the calm ocean waters when visiting the beach. I would be resting and soaking in the sun, afloat in the water for hours. The water is always a comfortable temperature. I have the memory of only feeling the small waves passing underneath me without bothering the sun I was soaking in. These calm waters always ensured safety and showed how peaceful and serene the ocean can be. I wanted to show how the majesty of our waters are and how important it is to appreciate and do whatever we can to keep them clean.
