This painting was inspired by the book with the same title by Paulo Coelho. I was so impressed by that book, his inner journey and the adventure to Santiego de Compostela that as soon as I could, I used this as a subject for my painting. The long shadows, the mountains in the background that look so small compared to the giant sun setting behind, the warm colors gives me the feeling of reaching towards something good, to gain something eternal, heartwarming experience.

Style: Dotillism

Acrylic on Wood

Dimension: 18 cm x 18 cm

I was born in 12.03.1989. Austria, Gmunden. I have always loved pointilism and dotillism although I was only experimenting more realistic ways of painting and drawing in my early years. After a few rejections, I gave up painting for a couple of years. Recently I found the courage to paint again and currently I’m freely exploring the possibilities within dotillist painting. My aim is to bring tranquility and happiness for those who observe my creations. First I was making jewellery with dotillist technique. My first dotillist painting, The Little Prince, was made in October, 2015. I’m grateful for my family and friends who support me and push me further to continue this jurney that I recently started. At the moment I have an ongoing exhibiton in Intuita Gallery ( in Váci Street 61. Budapest, Hungary. You may find more of my art on the following pages:
